Everything TrueVert does happens on your device. Your jump videos, measurements, and body tracking data are not uploaded to us or shared with third parties.
What TrueVert accesses
Camera
TrueVert uses your phone’s front camera to record a short video of each jump and to check that you are standing in the right place before recording starts. You are asked for camera permission the first time you start a jump. The app does not record audio.
What stays on your device
TrueVert stores the following in the app’s private storage on your phone:
- Jump videos, so you can replay a saved jump.
- Jump measurements, including height, air time, takeoff and landing moments, and the breakdown shown for your personal best.
- Body-position data tracked from the video, used to measure the jump and to draw the optional skeleton overlay.
- Body weight, only if you enter it to see estimated power.
- Preferences, such as inches or centimetres, whether you have seen the setup guide, and whether the skeleton overlay is shown.
This information is kept in local app files and a local database. It does not leave your phone. Deleting a jump in the app removes its video and measurements. Removing TrueVert from your phone deletes the app and all of its stored data.
What TrueVert does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No cloud upload or server-side processing.
- No advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting tools.
- No selling, sharing, or transmitting personal data.
- No location, contacts, messages, or microphone access.
On iPhone, the app’s settings list microphone and location entries. They exist only because the camera library TrueVert is built on refers to those features. TrueVert never asks for microphone or location access and never uses either.
Children’s privacy
TrueVert does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. The app does not send user information off the device and has no social, chat, or sharing features.
This website
truevert.app is a static product and support site. It does not use contact forms, advertising, analytics, tracking cookies, or third-party embeds. If you email support, your email provider and ours process that message under their own terms.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how TrueVert handles data, this page will be updated before that change applies. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
